In 2021, over 76 million people were enrolled in the program, making it the largest health insurance program in the United States. However, enrolling in Medicare is a complicated process and will take some research to find the right plan. It is best to utilize a licensed health insurance agent that can help answer any questions and guide you to the best plan for your circumstances.
Enrolling in Medicare Advantage Plans, or a Medicare Supplement over the phone with someone you do not know is not recommended. It is too easy to get into a plan that “sounds great” but does not provide the best plan for you.
